lecturing services

I can provide a range of evening illustrated lecture topics – landscapes and scenery, regional, church music development and others. I am sometimes available during the daytime to offer this service. Please make enquiries. An illustrated pamphlet is provided with all lectures the cost of which is covered by the fee. The aim is to cover material which might otherwise be tedious in the presentation or which might allow members of the audience to understand better the detail of the talk presented. The booklet is NOT a summary of the content of the lecture. Lecture content summaries are available on request at the time of booking. They are not provided automatically, because I try to edit the talks to suit the client's expected audience.

Lectures now offered:

Wildlife of the Falkland Islands. (90 mins). Based on an expedition undertaken in 2013

An introduction to Mull, Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Isles (90 mins)

The coast of Anglesey/Yns Mon (90 mins) in prep.

Quotes from feedback from Mull talk:
"Superb photos"
"Gifted speaker who really knows his subject"
"....your enthusiasm for the landscape, bird and animal life and even geology (which always seemed rather dull to me) was catching and engaged my attention"
"really well planned and thought out talk"
"enjoyed the humour.."
